Future Projects
North Bethesda Gateway

North Bethesda Gateway presents a mixed-use, transit-oriented gateway to North Bethesda at White Flint. This mixed-use
project recently received Sketch Plan approval from the Montgomery County Planning Board and includes approximately 1,034,131
square feet of non-residential development (office, hotel, and retail) and approximately 666,110 square feet of residential
development on a total of 11.04 acres.
As envisioned in the 2010 White Flint Sector Plan, North Bethesda Gateway offers an interconnected, highly integrated mixed-use
urban environment at the intersection of Nicholson Lane and Rockville Pike. The project provides a transition from the White Flint
Metro to White Flint Mall both programmatically and architecturally.
The project offers something new for Montgomery County. While the Project’s conception of downtown living is distinctly American New
Town, it also borrows from its European and Asian counterparts for inspiration in urban and environmentally-conscious methods of development.
